President’s Message

Wish very happy and prosperous New Year 2009 to every Hon’ble member of All India Federation of Tax Practitioners.

I must congratulate the Chairman of every Zone for having various conferences, seminars in the Year 2008. The Foundation Day function was celebrated on 11-11-2008 in different Zones under the able leadership of the respective Zonal Chairpersons and the National Vice Presidents including their team.

The every member of Federation are making sincere efforts to achieve the target of Life Membership of 5000 as desired by the senior members and the past Presidents of the Federation.

I wish that the New Year 2009 should also activate and involve the existing life members of different Zones and request them to associate in the activities of the Federation.

The Senior Advocates of the different High Courts have been requested and they have agreed to guide and give their valuable suggestions for the progress of the Federation.

Let the educational programmes of the Federation be carried to every corner of the country and even in the remote places of the district, by organizing one day Seminar.

In the present global economic scenario the role of tax professionals have become very important for the country. Every tax professional have to be well equipped in the various fields of tax laws for which the Federation has decided to have one day Seminar.
For any professionals be that a Chartered Accountants, Advocates, Tax Practitioners or Engineers, Doctors or Architects, the integrity and honesty is the supreme which makes the man straightforward and sincere in his working.

For achieving success one has to be quite objective as well as fair and impartial to his colleagues, subordinates and to the work itself.

When it comes to a professional, because not only entire stake but sometime the life of a person is put in the hands of the professional. Hence, the professional’s competence is supreme which can be achieved by having the complete knowledge and information about the subject and the laws in which we are dealing.

The purpose of the Regional Conference is to discuss the burning issues under various taxation laws. In the era of globalization and e-technology, entire world has become a global village and we have to get ourselves fully equipped with the latest development in each field of taxation.

I again congratulate the younger generation of Tax Bars who have started taking keen interest in the activities of the Federation.
